How to make chocolate pretzles, by Nautica


If you like pretzels and chocolate you will fall in love with this dessert!


1 cup of (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened

2 1/3 cup of sugar

3 egg yolks

1 teaspoon of almond extract

2 1/3 cups sifted all-purpose flour


powdered egg whites to equal 3 whites

2 3/4 cups sifted confectioner’s sugar

3 tablespoons unsweetened coca powder nonpareils


1. Beat butter,sugar,yolks and almond extract in a bowl until it’s fluffy and light. Stir flour in blending well.

2. Heat oven to 350 degrees.Roll dough into balls slightly less then one inch.One teaspoon at a time floured surface to nine inch length. Form into pretzel shape, place on ungreased baking sheet. Repeat,spacing two inches apart.

3. Bake at 350 degrees for ten minutes or until firm-cookies will be pal. Cool on sheet or wire rack,remove rack to cool completly.

4. CHOCOLATE ICING: Beat egg whites and water as directed or package until foamy. Beat in sugar and coco powder icing. Place right side up on rack over with waxed paper to catch drips. Sprinkle non pareils.


Have all the right ingredients.

If you want you can put a little sprinkles on, too.

Take it out when it is time to.

Put the right temperture on the oven.

If it’s hot put it on a plate to cool off .
